How to Make Cut Rock Candy Ornaments

You will need cookie cutters, a baking sheet, parchment paper, toothpicks, and something to grease the inside of the cookie cutters such as butter or non-stick spray.

And, of course, you need cut rock candy!

You can substitute peppermint candy,
but you will need to break it into smaller pieces.

Preheat your oven to 350°.

Line your cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Grease the inside of your cookie cutters and place them on the cookie sheet.

Fill them with a layer of candy.

Bake for 3 to 9 minutes, until the candy is melted.

Before it hardens, use a toothpick to make holes so that you can hang the ornaments on your tree.

Stretch the cookie cutters out to remove the ornaments.

Hang them, admire them, eat them up!
