The city is quite picturesque, but we had a silly mindset about living in the moment and we weren't taking a lot of photos. Hence I haven't one photo with a broad enough view of beautiful Edinburgh for this page, so I had to paint one. (You'll find our few, modest photos of Edinburgh if you click on the painting.)

When the tour started we were dropped off at the Castle on the rock that overlooks the city. We walked back down through Old Town. (It didn't actually rain while we were there but I thought my red umbrella would make a nice touch in this watercolor.)
